all i wanted to buy a beamng but i saw it was too expensive and decided to get the torrent app and downloaded the fake one well it works very well but some cars are missing and mods not working. Aaaand all i want is The REAL Beamng drive...

For those who don't know what a monolith in BeamNG, it's supposedly to be the center point of a map

The worst thing about realism in BeamNG is that the cars are too fast and powerful even in their stock configuration. Ordinary civil cars are not so crazy, especially old ones. It makes this game more arcade than simulator.

Not sure if it's just me but using Beam with the sole intention of causing crashes/watching chaos is kinda under-utilizing it to say the least. This has the potential to become an extremely accurate and casual/competitive and reliable driving sim if people started using it to hone in their driving skills instead of watching cars crash like children.

I found out about beamng Drive when I just bumped into a Channel called smashchan through a crash video. At First, I did not know how the video is made but when I kept watching more videos of the Channel and then realized that it was a game. I noticed that the game was very interesting because of how the physics work in the cars. I was desired to get the game through a bunch of websites related to the game but they mostly are ripoffs and the real game costs money. I also found a way to play the real game through a rare game website i bumped into but the steps to play it are never working together. I asked my parents to buy it but they said no because it reminds them of a car crash they Were in. Right until today, I was wanting to play it but many people called it a ripoff and the real game just costs a lot even though the beamng community and the CEO was very caring to players opinions and ideas. To this day, my desire to get the game had just faded but still, the game was a true popularity to players.

i cant seem to activate the light while in walk mode clicking alt+N. is there a mod required?

love this game<3 and would love to see a race campaign where you can unlock better stock model cars with rp...that way the people who play forza have no excuse when they say "its not like forza" other than that i will continue to play this awsome game.

they should add more supercars or hypercars, i find that smashing a 1 ton metal rectangle into a wall at 260 mph is quite soothing

I just love beamNG and thier devs. I purchased the game in May 2015 after i saw a gameplay and played the Demo. The way the physics worked stunned me. Now, 9 years later, i still play the game regularly. With 800+ hours it's by far my most played game in my steam library (i think only Minecraft can beat this) and no other game has managed to keep my attention for so long. The Carrer mode was announced so many years ago and finally playing the W.I.P Career mode just makes me happy and excited about the future! Thanks for this game BeamNG devs!

as player from 0.9 I personally think that progress devs made is huge, but that progress could cut me off from game as 0.24 was very demanding for my poor radeon HD 8500M 1GB, but i got a new pc. As of paid mods: You're not required to buy them as you can download it in 3rd link, but it's on your own responsibility. Career mod is thing that i was waiting for a long time as all versions i played have that button. Adding map i think was good and bad addition to the game as before maps felt bigger as you had to explore them, but map is also a long awaited thing as 2nd campaign had that 2d map of utah that i think was better as it causes less lags when loading and looks cleaner. I prefer campaigns to career mod as beamng had multiple maps and having separate ones for them with certain theme (derbies and offroad for JRI, destruction, rallying and rock climbing for Utah, deliveries and chasing for ECUSA and etc) would be great and could revive some maps, but sadly devs scrapped them.
